2. Scope of Services
We provide a range of aquaculture solutions, including:
- Fingerling & Brooder Supply: Certified Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) and Catfish (Clarias gariepinus).
- Consultation & Design: Expert guidance on pond construction, site selection, and system design.
- Training & Support: Individual and group farmer training, as well as ongoing technical advisory services.
- Equipment: Sale of aeration tools, water testing kits, and harvesting tools.
3. Ordering and Pricing
- Quotes: Customers can request a quote for bulk or small-scale orders via the website or direct contact.
- Order Fulfillment: We handle both large-volume commercial orders and small-scale individual orders.
4. Delivery and Transport Policy
- Coverage: We deliver fingerlings and brooders to all major counties across Kenya.
- Packaging: Fingerlings are oxygen-packed in water-filled polythene bags and insulated containers to ensure live delivery.
- Fees: Delivery charges are calculated based on distance. Specific arrangements must be confirmed during the ordering process.
- Live Arrival: While we strive for maximum survival during transit, the customer is responsible for proper acclimation upon arrival at their site.
5. Advisory and Technical Disclaimer
While we provide high-quality, disease-resistant stock and expert feeding plans, Apondo Fish Farm does not guarantee specific harvest yields. Success in aquaculture depends on the farmer’s adherence to proper care, water quality management, and feeding routines.
6. Operating Hours
Our facility near Kochogo High School, Ahero, is open for business during the following hours:
- Monday – Saturday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Sunday: By appointment only.
